agreed.

All I can think is maybe Canady has a pitch limit; perhaps she was tiring and it can happen to her quickly - all I can think of. Still, the relief pitcher did not give up a hit (although errors and Brady's terrific base running cost her the loss) so perhaps not so bad a coaching decision after all. Still, I was really happy to see her make that move!

Agree about Oklahoma - and don't think there is a team short of the national team that might have the pitching to beat them.

The worry is we are now down two starters off our best lineup, missing Palacios - and from what that injury looked like (as well as the comments from the broadcast booth at the time), doesn't seem very likely she will be back this season - and now Vines. Vines collided with an umpire near second base when she turned to go after a short fly ball. You wonder about a possible concussion in such a situation - she didn't seem to be limping or anything else. Hopefully she'll be fine and will get back into the lineup at least after this week.

Still, a weakened lineup for the Bruins with Oklahoma out there and soaring unabated. Nevertheless, a great year, a great season - kind of like Beach Volleyball which won everything but the title.

Official site lists tonight's game at 7 pm PT on ESPN2
