it seems both teams were DQ'd for "unsportsmanlike"
If anyone was actually there, let us know what happened or we'll all just have to wait for the event story to be posted on the official site (if it bothers to tell us)
FWIW, SC had the superior 400 runners, having finished 1-2 and 5 in the 400 m dash so SC would have won the race had it been scored in all likelihood.
A bit sad to remember back to the heydays of UCLA and SC T&F when we both had the best collegians in the event and the relay often decided the event
