The Bruins should both reclaim the CWPA poll #1 ranking and take the top seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament, by claiming the MPSF championship today.
Yesterday the Bruins dispatched of the #3 Trojans in their semifinal match; while the #4 Cal Bears defeated #1 and defending champion Stanford. Today the Bruins built up a 6-4 lead going into the final quarter, and held on for a 9-8 victory.
Our conference foes will have to go through play in games and hope for at large bids.

"The NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship will be held on May 8-10, 2015 with Stanford, Stanford, CA hosting. Eight teams will be participating. Conference champions from the MPSF, WWPA, SCIAC, CWPA, MAAC, and Big West will represent the six automatic bids, joined by four at-large bids. The play-in games are conducted May 2 on the campuses of the higher-seeded teams.
