I mean, after the huge previous games, looks like Kelly played not to lose having lost in the first round to UAB. Major error in my view, and the team paid the price. Looked very tentative in that last game, Bruin softball was built on swagger, pitching, technical competence in fielding, and needs to keep that.
So disappointed. Of course, we would have gotten Florida in the supers, which might have been ugly. I am so tired of seeing us lose to Florida in so many things. But then, despite Chuck Young's five years at the helm there, they are still an SEC school, and lack the limits UC schools face in far too many ways to note. We all know what they are.
