I watched the match last night and I have a few comments:
1) we focused on possession but we clearly went more direct on attack, particularly in the 2nd half. This seems to be the UCLA style with the men as well.
2) Tennessee packed it in on D, and they struggled to make more that 2 consecutive passes. They were hoping for a low scoring match with a counterattack goal or two. We closed quickly and dispossessed them all match long.
3) We created MANY scoring opportunities despite the Tennessee packing it in. We just didn't finish, including a few sitters. If only we had Leroux!!!
