We are talking about the last five games, when Kemp was either missing or ofer. And we are talking about how the rest of the team is coming together to make up for Kemp's absence.
So what did Loney do in the five games?
He was 7 for 16, and had at least 3 defensive plays that made the Dodger highlights.
What did Gordon do in the five games?
He was 1 for 18, and made defensive highlights because he bumped into Uribe who was trying to make the catch for the final out. Luckily Uribe held on. And he took another easy catch away from the centerfielder by going away from the play and making it a very difficult catch.
There is NO question that Loney made more contribution in the last five games. If you can't even accept that and keep pimping a guy who went 1 for 18 in that span, well, what can I say?
