Tyler Rahmatulla is batting .328 for the season, with a team-leading 76 hits and 52 runs. He also leads the team with 39 walks and 118 total bases. Among his 45 RBIs are 2 produced by his 9th inning, 2-out home run that saved UCLA from elimination by Cal State Fullerton in the super-regional.

This is a ridiculous way for Tyler's season to come to an end, and sadly, his loss may spell the difference between the Bruins going all the way in the CWS and finishing as an also-ran.

Of course, anybody can beat anybody on a given day, but to take the CWS title without Rahmatulla, the rest of the Bruins will have to be at their best in every aspect of the game for two weeks. I still think they can do it.

GO BRUINS!
