Saturday's loss to Pacific, a team without a previous league victory in three years, will not keep UCLA from post-season play. A 2-2 record in the final four games of the season was enough to earn the Bruins admission to the MPSF Tournament and keep hopes of an NCAA championship alive. UCLA (16-13 overall, 11-11 MPSF, 7th place) will have to go on the road to BYU (21-8, 15-7, tied for 2nd place) next Saturday. The Bruins are 1-2 against the Cougars this season.
Elsewhere in the Southland next Saturday, Cal State Northridge (21-8, 15-7, 2nd place) will host USC (16-10, 13-9, 6th place).
