Yep, the Bruins have regained their hitting mojo. A solo home run by Tyler Rahmatulla and a grand slam by Brett Krill contributed to an 8-2 UCLA victory over Oregon State today in Corvallis. Rob Rasmussen kept Beaver batters frustrated, as Bruin pitching has throughout this series.
The rubber game win gives the Bruins the series (2-1) and lifts UCLA to a 4-2 Pac-10 record (25-3 overall). Oregon State drops to 3-3 (20-8).
Next up is a game at UC Riverside and three at home against much-improved Oregon.
