Will A-Rod suffer the same fate? Not so sure, nor am I positive that Manny won't either. If we eliminate known or suspected juicers from consideration, will we have ANY HOF's for a decade or two??? Not sure there are that many who would qualify outside of that pool of talent.
And, unfortunately (IMO), it's all up to the whims of sports writers.
