... may not be enough yet to make a qualified statement one way or the other. I think the division (with the exception of the Dodgers) is pretty weak, and will prove out to be come season end. I do think it's possible 2 teams could come out of the West, but again probably only because that second team would prey 54 times on the bottom 3.
I will admit that a couple of the teams seem better than I thought they would be. The Giants pitching looks solid, with Zito seemingly coming around, and Sanchez looking like a good young pitcher. I think SD's early success was a fluke, and the D-backs look hapless, especially without Webb (sorry, Kruk - but you called it first).
