The UCLA Police Department is very small. Apparently they put out a request for mutual aid assistance from LAPD and CHP "hours ago." CNN is reporting that the police are on site now, but I and a lot of others would like to know what the hell took them so long. (Yes, I realize they have to assess and develop a coordinated plan, but that shouldn't take so long in an emergency situation, which this clearly was.
