soon after Trump cashes in.

The board members will soon face a terrible dilemma (which I assume is par for the course for anyone doing business with Trump).

If the board amends the standard policy to allow Trump to sell his shares early, it will almost certainly cause the share price to fall precipitously. The company could conceivably collapse soon afterward. When all is said and done, a post-mortem analysis will show that the board was derelict in allowing Trump to sell early, thus causing the company to fail.

On the other hand, if the board acts to protect the interests of the company, they won't allow him to sell those shares. That will enrage Trump, and he will blame the board for his problems. And he will sic his followers onto those board members. Who wants to face that angry mob?

As far as I can see, Trump's best way out is to get some help from his friends... in Saudi Arabia, or Russia, or whatever. Of course the transactions will be hidden, right? Could a half a billion dollars somehow makes its way into his hands without being traced?
