Book was great. A little dense at times but I made it through the entire trilogy. It sorta changed the way I ponder alien intelligences,

NetFlix: was also very good. Kinda surprised they pulled it off with the diversified cast. But the to me the 1st book came of as too provincial to it worked as a whole.

TenCent: Good. I'm Only in episode 12 (out of 30). A third of the way in and the story is so slow in progressing. It's getting the story out but I have nodded off a couple times during the show. They spend a lot of times with the characters and I think it was to its detriment.

The TenCent version got the dehyrate part perfect
The Netflix got the VR set up perfect
Both shows had fantastic police detectives
The White girl scientist In Netflix was annoying
The Chinese cub girl detective in Tencent was annyoying
Netflix: 8 hours
TneCent:22 hours

AFter I finish the TenCent version I'm going to reread the books
