At a Saturday rally Trump talked about the infamous Zelensky phone call.
But in Trumps version, he "tricked" the Democrats. He let them spread crazier and crazier versions of what Trump had done and "then I released the tape and proved it all wrong." Trump said Pelosi was furious when she heard the tape, you guys lied to me he didn't do any of the stuff you said he did. But Pelosi and the Dems then decided to go ahead with their lies and impeach him anyways and you saw how that turned out.
This is of course all a lie, he didn't release the tape he released a transcript, except it wasn't actually a transcript it was a highly edited version of a transcript.
And as always with Trump, the irony is the made up story impeachment is what Trump and the GOP are doing with Biden, including them literally paying people to lie
