It's a sad story and what Trump and the GOP are doing using her as a prop just makes it worse.
And to be clear, they don't yet know if he's here illegally or not, the killer. he has a brother who they also arrested at first because they thought he was Jose but he was the brother Diego, Diego it turns out is here legally, he crossed the border requesting asylum with a "credible" claim of fear for his life.
Right now they're still determining if the killer, Jose, is here legally or not.
Meanwhile the 22 year old young woman is dead and Trump is using her family as a prop.
