So what happened is, I said everything’s going great. It’s like everything’s so perfect. All I had to do is go to sleep, relax for a couple of nights— sleep, sleep, sleep—as opposed to yesterday. You probably read, people are impressed. I’m not impressed. To me it’s just — but I got in, they said, 'Sir, it’s 4:48.' He goes —what does that mean?
I’m walking through the door of the White House. It’s actually very—it’s a very cool place, Rick, I have to tell you. So I’m walking in at 4 o’clock in the morning, 4:48 to be exact, and there’s a handsome soldier—like all these guys. You know, we’re in the merit system now. We won in the Supreme Court. Everything’s based on merit, so we’re allowed to have big, strong, handsome soldiers now. We want strong soldiers. We want soldiers that can fight. Anyway, so there’s a couple of soldiers, and he goes, “4:48. The president has arrived.” I said, “That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard.”
They never did that when I walked into Trump Tower. They never did that when I walked into Mar-a-Lago. They don’t do it. And these guys are central casting—you couldn’t hire guys that look this good—and they love it. So I said, “What is 4:48?” “That’s the time of the hour, sir.” I said, “I’ve never heard this before.” [He] said, “Well, we do that when it’s very late in the evening, to let everyone know you’re here, sir.” I said, “That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard.”
See, there are some reasons to be president. I would say that’s the top, but it’s pretty nice.
