NOte the courts already ruled he can't fire Cook because she has to get due process.
But he's trying to do an end around by creating a 3 person committee so he can then claim the committee made the decision not him. Kevin Hassett is chairing the committee
Already being clearly stated it would be illegal to fire her over this. Yahoo says Trump is claiming she lied on 2 mortgage applications years ago, Cook has already presented evidence that shows she told the truth on both. SCOTUS said months ago he can't fire her because he hasn't given her due process, but did NOT rule on the merits of the claim on the mortgages saying they didn't need to since the firing was illegal.
