They are not going to seed it with more money, that is why it is a bait and switch. Give people $1000 bucks and convince them they don’t need social security. No way this turns out to be a free lunch, or a free $2 million dollars.

And individual investment accounts can suffer reverses. Even diversified pension funds are susceptible to market reversals,
