While it's certainly possible, and the Brewers did win the season series over the Dodgers by a whopping 4 games to 3, there is something else to consider. I see people on other sites pointing out that the Brewers had the best record in the MLB (3 more wins than the Dodgers had). BUT, but, but, they play in the NL Central and the Dodgers play in the NL West. The NL Central is significantly weaker than the NL West, which is both stronger and deeper overall. The fact that the Dodgers whomped (is that still a word?) the division, winning it by a lot of games, is significant, IMHO. (Yes, I realize that they all play teams outside of their divisions, but I believe my point is still valid.)
One thing we can ALL celebrate is the elimination of the Yankees from this year's playoffs. Good riddance.
GO DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
