There was a lot of violence in the headlines (War etc), But typically it was only black protestors that got run over by authorities, but when the army was shooting with live ammunition at suburban college kids, it shocked the nation. Some pictures of the event are seared into the memory of those around at the time.
Give solace to the fact while there are no investigations now, murder has no statutory limit.
