They are either on the side of the city they are there to provide law enforcement for, or they're against it.
I hope they make the right call despite all the pressure and I hope other police forces around the country follow suit. This needs to be police against ICE, at some point, for regular folks to have any leverage against these kinds of invasions.
(That said, not holding my breath wrt the LA police in that regard. Their track record suggests they are overmilitrized "thin blue liners" who don't give a damn about "protect and serve".)
