Bad news for Demos

This is what I was afraid of. “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Looks like Harris is running again. That will just split the party wide open. If she doesn't get the nomination, her base of Blacks and women will be alienated and sit out the election, just like the Bernie supporters did in 2016 and handed Trump the election. If she gets the nomination, does anyone really think she could win? Who lost to Trump, the candidate with the most baggage ever? Hillary and Kamala. See a pattern here? Didn't matter she had a late start.

• Many potential 2028 contenders believe Democratic voters will favor the candidate most likely to win — which, to them, means not Harris.


• There also weren't many white men at her recent events at time when some in the party are trying to slice into Republicans' advantage with that demographic.


• Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee could help Harris win the Democratic nomination, but all three states are likely to go to the Republican candidate in the 2028 general election.
