No, real ID does not confirm that you're a citizen. It only shows you're in the country legally, which ICE does not give two sh*ts about. When they approach you, they don't ask "are you in this country legally?", they ask "are you a citizen?"
We have seen ICE agents look at a real ID and conclude that it must be fake because the person speaks with an accent or has physical features they associate with Mexicans, which to a lot of them is proof that a person does not belong in this county. This has been captured on video.
At least put some effort into learning a few things before you form an opinion.
