I've been going to their shows for over 40 years.
I last saw them play at a tiny club in HB several years ago. Phil was not in good health - he walked with a shuffle and needed help getting on stage. But when he stepped up to the mic, he immediately got strong and belted out each song with gusto. The band was in top form and Keith Wyatt was a virtuoso powerhouse on guitar. Sadly, those days are gone. We won't see the likes of the Beat Farmers or the Blasters ever again...
