in the LA area. A young woman was snatched at 1 AM by ICE. She overstayed her visa, but had a plane ticket to return to Korea next week. That didn't matter to ICE. This explains why deportation numbers are down, but detention is way up. Trump's buddies private prisons need that $500-$800 per night/detainee. Who knows how long she will be detained.
The church is home to a lot of Korean international students. Some of their visas have been revoked with no explanation. Almost all new students have decided not to come at all. I assume many were incoming UCLA students. The church is full of MAGA supporters. I wonder if they have connected the dots.
