What I worry about with Musk being on the outs

It was great drama, we had our fun watching two of the evilest people alive in the US of A b*tch slapping each other for a day or two, with delicious consequences, like the drop in TSLA stock prices etc and Musk realizing what happens when you carry a scorpion on your back. Great fun.

But now I'm thinking, wondering, fearing whether this means the even bigger evil that's thus far been waiting in the wings and not having stepped into the spotlight, decides it's time to fill the void Musk left behind. Peter Thiel has the self-confidence to be able to work without hogging the stage. He has one foot over the threshold with JD Vance. He has (as far as I know) the intellectual (such as it is) force of Curtis Yarvin in his alliance. And Trump will need an inside guy in the tech bro world. So I'm kinda worried if that's what we start seeing next, and as bad as Musk has been, I have little doubt that Thiel would be a whole lot worse. And if he decides that the time to act is not in 3 1/2 years when Vance can run for office, but make a move and capture the castle now, I think things can take an even woerse turn very quickly.

Talk me out of this ledge.
