Let's check the facts shall we?
He was Egyptian.
The leader of Egypt is Abdul Fattah el-Sissi. He engineered a coup in July 2013, then violently removed protesters for the next 6 months he led violent assaults on civilians, they killed over 3000 of them and he has been president of Egypt since 2014. In 2019 Trump called him my "favorite dictator" while at teh G7 meeting in France which drew widespread criticism of Trump for idolizing yet another dictator.
Trump used his relationship and the power of presidency to get Egypt and Jordan to agree to his stupid scheme to house all the Palestinians so he could turn Gaza into a Trump resort.
The terrorist tried to get asylum in 2013 by claiming he was fleeing the coup in Egypt but was denied because he couldn't prove he was in any danger. He was denied again a few years later before finally getting approval in 2022 to enter on a non tourist visa.
So a good guess would be he's more likely right wing than left
