It looked in slow motion like they were punching him but they were punching him where he held the ball. In real time their punches weren’t that accurate but I still don’t think that was their intention.
You can’t call it roughing the passer. And he didn’t slide so I think it was a good no call and play on.
Maybe you could call unnecessary roughness. He was down and those were Late punch attempts.
