Or are you just reading the final score?
They literally played an FCS team that won one game last year. The score has to have some context, doesn't it? SDSU didn't play well; they just out-athleted PSU by blocking two punts and returning a kickoff for a TD.
They were favored by almost 40 points. If you watched it, you could see that PSU had no talent, yet played SDSU even in the first Q and closed it to 29-13 early in the 3rd before the kickoff return for TD. SDSU had about 150 yards passing for the game and did not even reach 400 yards of offense.
The poor SDSU offense vs PSU was a preview of their performance against UCLA.
