The USC Trojans' social media page posted its own version of the movie poster, featuring its famed Trojan head gear with the caption, "Our Odyssey begins August 29" — referring to the first football game of the 2026 season for the "Men of Troy." . . . just one problem: "The Odyssey" is based on Odysseus' 10-year journey home to Ithaca from the 10-year-long Trojan War — which, infamously, saw the fall of Troy.
