The assessment you quoted was two years after his RS soph season. It's also one person's opinion, probably accurate but not a "fact". You imply he was that player then? Players do improve from year to year. He may have had the raw skills then, but not the experience of the players who played over him. That counts for a lot.
Basically you are saying he should have played more as a RS soph because a pro scout thought he was really good two years later.
