Femi played a ton at LB in 2023...the three main LBs in 2023 where Muasau (draft pick), Medrano (future draft pick), and Femi (future draft pick). Ken Norton was the LB coach.
In 2024, Femi started off at LB. Ale Kaho (UFA who made the Washington NFL roster where Ken Norton took over in 2024) was another starter (until he got hurt). Ucla's pass rush in 2024 was anemic, so Femi moved to DE in G3 and played there every game thereafter. Also, CS was much better in pass D than Femi was, and he was also, it turns out, a much better block slipper and tackler than Femi was as an LB.
