I really don't know what the right answer is to trying to fix all this. I have a lot of absolute WTF moments when I hear certain members in Congress and Senate talk about certain things in Title IX sports, but I'll stay off that. So I'm not the most confident person in having Congress and Senate trying to settle a lot of this based on a lot of things I've heard from some members. And not a Democrat/Republican thing, just overall.
Quite honestly, I'm not even the biggest supporter of universities in general anymore. I think they get way too much money for what little most get out of them as a whole. However, coming from a standpoint of if I had a daughter, I would like to think that she could have to option of representing a university in a sport if she really wanted to. Club sports are so big right now and there are so many sports that kids play, parents spend money on, spend time traveling, etc and the hope is for a lot of the kids is to someday be able to just play for a college team. I'd like to see that continue to happen in the future and hope they can figure it out.
