I just ordered a copy of the book, "Walking Alone: The Untold Journey of Football Pioneer Kenny Washington". Did you know that Kenny very nearly became the second "Negro" Brooklyn Dodger? A knee injury, and a temporarily "secret" deal he'd just made with the L.A. Rams, led to him sticking with football.
