...in CFB and in the NFL are wildly different.

The nomenclature for play calling is vastly different.

Where the hashes are placed radically changes the incentives and choices offensive architects and play callers face and make.

CFB rewards Os that play horizontally...bubble screen to the wide side of the field, and use small quick guys to make the smallest guys on the d make tackles in space.

the NFL doesn't have the super wide "wide side" of the field...but the "boundary" side is wide enough to run "wide zone" into with room to spare.

So the NFL formula becomes: wide zone to the boundary, then fake wide zone to the boundary and run naked bootleg to the field (aka, wide side).

I lost count of how many times the Bears ran either wide zone or naked boot v the Rams.

I think EB is an excellent sergeant. But I think Andy Reid will always be the general as long as he's with the Chiefs.

Together, they're a great pair. PH still has a lot in the tank. Give him a new, fresh TE like a McBride or a Loveland, and KC will be very dangerous. They have some speed, length and good 50/50 ball catchers at WR.
