...catching a punt and catching a pass?
For example...let's say I'm a gunner running full speed down the field to get to the punt returner. Let's say I arrive a bit before the ball and I pull away the punt returner's arm, forcing him to muff the punt, which we recover for a turnover.
Is that a penalty on me? I'm gonna guess that 99% will think it is.
ok, here's a different scenario:
Let's say I'm a defensive back. The WR has gotten behind me on a go route. I'm struggling to catch up, and I'm clawing at him like a feral cat. I grab his shoulder pad, and pull him back. I grab his jersey and pull him back. I grab his arm so that he can't try to catch the ball with two hands. He is unable to catch the pass, and I celebrate like I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Is that a penalty on me?
