I was really curious and watched some videos over what the Rose Bowl commission is doing and it looks really good.
Phase 1 through 2026 is putting a club section in the lower part and then some kind of standing room section that enables people for families for instance to be able to do their thing while you watch a game. Not quite sure how that works, but somehow got the idea from Wisconsin. Other upgrades include utilities, wifi, sound, and some other things.
Phase 2 which happens after the Olympics because they want more people in will include reducing seats to 72K, installing wider seats, and more legroom. Also will include a large video screen at the North end. I think possibly more aisles.
Bottom line is the Rose Bowl is going through a major renovation.
