Yeah, Nebbie is taking us apart, even with a true freshman pressed into service.
And, Lateefa has been flawless ~ 6-6 thru the air inclusive of 2 TD passes. He also was a speed demon on the ground around the edges. Haven’t had to run him much more becuz Nebbie is dominating up the gut in both trenches.
Given the superiority in the trenches, UCLA is achingly predictable on both sides of the ball for Rhule to exploit. It’s had lethal affect on both ends, as Nebbie has exploited UCLA’s DLine as well as its secondary. And, unless I missed something, I can’t remember a single time UCLA has even hurried Lateefa.
Nico has has some success on the ground but has had little time to make an impact thru the air, having to resort to his legs as UCLA’s QB pocket has been quick to break down.
Sadly, Nebbie has had the further advantage of playing in front of a virtual home crowd, as I had my hearing aid turned all the way up to max,
Oh, and Nebbie gets the 2H kick.
