Yeah, Lewis is definitely getting poached this year. If not us, then Stanford, or if Deion (medically) retires, Colorado.
If we go for him, whither Skipper and Neu tho?
IMHO, if we beat Nebraska, play well at Ohio St (better than Indiana, especially offensively) and then beat 'SC, we are probably riding the Skipper/Neu train into 2026 (and they will get the permanent jobs the Sunday after the SC game).
If the offense does decent but we don't win those games, then we probably want to keep Neu, but Skipper is out - which means we're probably looking for an older, experienced HC who would only be coaching for a few years to get Neu ready maybe Peterson (or another retired/older HC, such as Rocky Long).
BUT, if the offense continues the trend of the past 2 games (Md/Ind), then Skipper/Neu are likely moving on, and we go for Lewis, or a high college/NFL coordinator.
If/when Lewis gets poached, I'd think Skipper is probably going to be their #1 candidate (tho I could see him going to Stanford too).
