Guys that are popular choices to fill vacancies: Sumrall-Tulane, Golesh-South Florida. Guys I suggested would be good affordable hires: Traylor-UTSA, Silverfield-Memphis (his may not be so affordable now). Guy someone on the board has suggested, who looks like a good candidate: Eric Morris - North Texas.

Sumrall: lost to Traylor (convincingly), plays Silverfield 11/7

Golesh: Beat Morris (also beat Danielson at BSU and Napier at Florida - Dang!), lost to Silverfield.

Silverfield: Beat Golesh, plays Sumrall 11/7

Morris: got crushed by Golesh, crushed Traylor.

Traylor: lost to Morris, beat Sumrall, plays Golesh 11/6.

Then, for kicks, there's the guy at Temple. Won at Rowan for years. Won at Delaware for years. Won at Sam Houston for years. First year at Temple, they're winning and he beat Traylor. Has Golesh and Sumrall at the end of the season. Too bad he's 66.

Oh, and one of the other guys I suggested, Kinne at TexSt, beat Traylor. TexSt is otherwise having a bad season. I'm off the Kinne bandwagon.

(the fourth guy I suggested, Candle at Toledo, is 4-4 this year. So, he's probably not currently hireable, but he's 77-44 there and only 45 years old.

Last random comment - Wazzoo's HFC took over a powerhouse SoDakSt team three years ago and won a NC. Got hired by Wazzoo 2 years later and has them 4-4. Maybe one to watch.
