It’s like the OLine just stepped out of a telephone booth after changing unisex. And, sure, no OLine is perfect - cough - Mr. Ford - cough, but this transformation is ricoculous.
And, of critical importance, it sure doesn’t t hurt that their veteran QB Chiles is visibly limping. It cuts down his range of motion and is akin to adding another UCLA defender.
And, speaking of the D, they held MSU to less than 100 total yds, albeit O has rarely been an MSU strength.
Would help if we cleaned up the penalties (5 vs none for MSU), but I’m still waiting for someone to pinch me for a 17 pt road lead at the half, inclusive if dominance in the time of possession game-within-the-game.
About as good a start as we could have dreamed with MSU getting the 2H kickoff.
