It would be so UCLA to hire David Shaw or someone who is out of coaching. But maybe since they finally canned a coach on time they mean business this time.

I’m sure they want Smith at MSU or Fisch, but those ships have likely sailed and they likely have big buyouts anyway.

Best we can hope for is DeBoer if he gets canned. UCLA is still a Big 10 job.

I personally don’t like Mullen but I’d take him. I’d take the New Mex coach too.

Plus, some coaches we haven't even heard of will emerge this season, somewhere.
