Mobile QB centric offense...what are your thoughts about the Flexbone?

So upon reading your post and speculating on a QB centric run offense, the Flexbone came to mind. Smaller profile schools, such as the service academies and I think Colorado (McCartney era) in the 80s-90s ran versions of the Flexbone. Those programs couldn't attract the road grading offensive linemen that the Ohio States, Alabamas, Georgias, and USCs did and these Flexbone schools recruited smaller, more agile offensive linemen. I think UCLA is this type of school. We can't out recruit the CFP powerhouses for NFL Olinemen, so maybe the best we can do is recruit more limited talent players like the service academies do. So maybe we can use a Flexbone type of offense, a junk offense and be modestly successful.
