This is part of the declerating business economics that will force Ucla to outsource its football program. Having rolled up a deficit of $220mm, effectively a debtor in possession bankruptcy, Ucla's financial patience will soon be sorely tested. For now, the B10 money helps but if that declines, and it will, Ucla will be forced to react.
Fans have to see the future management of the program as separate from Ucla. Frenk, Jarmond, et. al., have no abilities in this business. Frenk is a healthcare bureaucrat, Jarmond is a careerist who's never had profit and loss responsibility.
It'll soon be time to restructure. At last.
