I remember going to the Long Beach St. game in 1982 and that attendance felt brutal. I looked that up and it was roughly 45K. It felt more like 35K, but either way that just seemed empty.
To read under 28K last Saturday is really, really bad. I'm not giving up yet, but I'd be lying if I said this doesn't make me sad. And I know Utah traveled well for that game. And just my own personal opinion is 8PM start times are BS. I thought part of the reason why we were going to the B10 was to get earlier start times to try to help with attendance.
Honestly, I'm not really overly thrilled with the 5PM start time this weekend, but I'll take that over the 8PM garbage.
