Losing 3 NFL LB's to the draft, leading to an entirely new group was going to inevitably lead to this issue (especially with no returning Safeties to back them up). Not only was the tackling dreadful, but the LB's were slow to read the plays and fill the holes. It also looked like we hadn't gameplanned for a running QB at all, tho that could also be the poor reads and slow reactions by the LB's in their first game together in the scheme.
Chisolm will be good to great in the Muasau/Schwesinger role (I think) once he gets his reads down in the D, JJ Vaughns has the talent, but not the experience, and it looks like Woods may as well. But they sure as heck didn't in game 1. Unfortunately, for Vaughns/Woods, they don't have much time to get there.
