How big is JJV? That seems emblematic of our problem on D. I maybe wrong, but he does not seem to have Mike size our power. Nothing against Vaughns.
I have hopes for Malloe, just based on, iirc, when we started the season last year, Femi was a linebacker and Schwes was a pine backer. By the end of the season, they were both NFL guys. And we seemed to be playing some kind of gimmicky D that featured Toia, then tried to move guys around to conceal the fact that we didn't have another interior DL that could hold his ground.
Just sittin' here hoping we can bring in some talent in the trenches for next season.
