the number one thing I'm looking at as the key to the game, running the ball (with the RBs) and not letting Dampier run wild. So it comes down to:
Will UCLA's RBs run for more yards than Dampier (Utah's new qb) runs for?
I'm not including any Nico scrambles/designed runs.
Looking at Dampier, he's a 50% completion qb, but one who can run for 100 yards. If we can stop him running, while also our OL and playcalling are good enough to allow our RBs to run for over 100, I think we win.
As such, I expect us to play a LOT of zone, to keep him from running.
I think if that happens, we can even (barely) lose the turnover and penalty yards numbers and still win.
