the OSU transfer to Stanford was awful. Happy Feet and seeing ghosts everywhere, not able to release a throw on time or on target, Stanford was restricted to trying to run the ball. Fairly successfully, but with no real big runs.
The Hawai'i qb was great too, and incredibly gutsy, but Stanford wins by multiple TD's if Gulbranson is even halfway competent in that game. They really should have pulled him, but didn't. Not sure if they didn't want to wreck his already destroyed confidence further, or don't trust their backup at all.
